CORPORATIONS REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) 1998 No. 185 - REG 43

43.1 Subregulation 4.2.01 (1B): Omit all the words before paragraph (a),
substitute:

"(1B) For paragraph 147 (1) (c) or 601DC (1) (c) of the Corporations Law, a
name is unacceptable for registration, if the name:".

43.2 Paragraph 4.2.01 (1B) (a): Omit the paragraph, substitute:

"(a) contains:

        (i)    any of the following words:
Olympic Paralympic
Olympics Paralympics
Olympiad Paralympian
Olympian
or an abbreviation of any of them; and

        (ii)   any of the following expressions:
City Summer
Games Sydney
Gold Two Thousand
Millennium 2000
or an abbreviation of any of them; or".

43.3 Paragraph 4.2.01 (1B) (m): Omit "Column 1 or Column 2 of Schedule 6A",
substitute "subparagraph (a) (i)".

43.4 Subregulation 4.2.01 (1): Omit all the words before paragraph (a),
substitute:

"(1) For paragraph 147 (1) (c) or 601DC (1) (c) of the Corporations Law, a
name is unacceptable for registration if the name:".

43.5 Paragraphs 4.2.01 (1) (b) and (c): Omit "subregulation", substitute
"subrule".

43.6 Subparagraph 4.2.01 (1) (d) (viii): Omit "country; or", substitute
"country;".

43.7 Paragraph 4.2.01 (1) (d): Add at the end:

"if that connection does not exist; or".

43.8 Subregulation 4.2.01 (2): Omit "Paragraph (1) (b)", substitute "Paragraph
6203 (b)".

43.9 Paragraphs 4.2.01 (2) (a) and (b): Omit "Schedule 6", substitute "Part
3".

43.10 Subregulation 4.2.01 (3): Omit "Paragraph (1) (c)", substitute
"Paragraph 6203 (c)".

43.11 Subregulation 4.2.01 (4): Omit "Paragraph 4.2.01 (1B) (m)", substitute
"Paragraph 6202 (m)".
