(1) A person employed
in child-related employment must give the person’s employer written
notice of a relevant change in the person’s criminal record as soon as
is practicable after the change occurs.
Penalty: a fine of $60 000 and imprisonment
for 5 years.
(2) The employer must
give the CEO written notice of a relevant change in the employee’s
criminal record as soon as is practicable after the employer is given notice
under subsection (1).
Penalty: a fine of $24 000 and imprisonment
for 2 years.
