MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGISTS ACT 2006 (NO. 21 OF 2006) - SECT 48

48 .         Disciplinary matters

                The following are disciplinary matters —

            (a)         that a person has contravened a condition applying to that person’s registration or the practice of medical radiation technology by that person;

            (b)         that a person in the course of his or her practise as a medical radiation technologist —

                  (i)         acted carelessly;

                  (ii)         acted incompetently;

                  (iii)         acted improperly;

                  (iv)         breached this Act or the Radiation Safety Act 1975 ;

                  (v)         failed to comply with an undertaking given to the Board under this Act;

                  (vi)         provided services that were excessive, unnecessary or not reasonably necessary for the recipient’s wellbeing;

            (c)         that a person has been convicted of an offence the nature of which renders the person unfit to practise as a medical radiation technologist.
