(d) has
sufficient physical capacity, mental capacity and skill to practise medical
radiation technology;
(e)

in the opinion of the Board is sufficient to enable that person to perform
efficiently the duties of a medical radiation technologist in that area; and
(f)
holds a qualification prescribed by the rules as a qualification for
registration as a medical radiation technologist relevant to the area in
respect of which registration is applied for or a qualification that in the
opinion of the Board is equivalent to such a qualification.
(3)
Subsection (2)(e) does not apply to a person who, having been awarded a
qualification referred to in subsection (2)(f) within the 5 years
preceding the application, is applying to the Board, for the first time, for
registration under subsection (1).
(4) The Board may
impose such conditions on registration under subsection (1) as the Board
reasonably requires to ensure the competent and safe practice of medical
radiation technology.
(5) A condition
imposed under subsection (4) may apply indefinitely or for a period of
time specified by the Board in the written notice.
(6) The Board may, on
its own motion or on the application of a person the subject of a condition
imposed under this section, on reasonable grounds, revoke or vary the
condition.
