(1) If under this Act
a court discharges an accused from a charge the court may also discharge any
witness who has been summonsed or who is subject to any witness undertaking in
respect of the charge.
(2) If under this Act
a court discharges a witness in a case, any summons to the witness, any
witness undertaking by the witness, and any surety undertaking in respect of
the witness, that relates to the case and that is then in effect ceases to be
in effect.
