(1) Notice of
intention to conduct an applicable legislation examination must be published
on the regulator’s website.
(2) A person may apply
to the regulator to take an applicable legislation examination for a statutory
position or statutory certificate.
(3) The application
must be in the approved form.
(4) The regulator
may —
(a)
conduct an applicable legislation examination for a statutory position or
statutory certificate; or
(b)
appoint an examiner to conduct an applicable legislation examination for a
statutory position or statutory certificate.
(5) The person who
conducts an applicable legislation examination for a statutory position or
statutory certificate must conduct the examination in accordance with a
determination made under regulation 675ZZG(1) in relation to the position
or certificate.
(6) If a person takes
an applicable legislation examination —
(a) if
an examiner is appointed under subregulation (4)(b) — the
examiner must notify the regulator whether the person fails or passes the
examination; and
(b) the
regulator must give the person a document stating whether the person fails or
passes the examination.
