(1) The regulator must
acknowledge a notice given under regulation 675UK(4) unless the regulator
considers that the notice is incomplete.
(2) If the regulator
acknowledges the notice under subregulation (1), the regulator must give
the mine operator a written notice acknowledging the notice.
(3) If the regulator
does not acknowledge the notice under subregulation (1), the regulator
must give the mine operator a written notice stating that the
notice —
(a) is
incomplete; and
(b) must
be completed and resubmitted before the proposed high risk mining activity can
be carried out.
(4) The regulator is
taken to have acknowledged a notice given under regulation 675UK(4) if
the waiting period as defined in regulation 675UK(1) for the proposed
high risk mining activity has elapsed and the regulator has not given the mine
operator a notice under subregulation (3).
