Western Australian Current Regulations Western Australian Current Regulations The mine operator of a
mine must ensure that a worker at the mine is trained in relation to their
responsibilities to implement the emergency plan for the mine —
(a)
before commencing work at the mine; and
(b) as
soon as is reasonably practicable after any significant revision to the plan.
Penalty:
(a) for
an individual, a fine of $4 200;
(b) for
a body corporate, a fine of $21 000.
