Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) The Commissioner for Youth Justice must immediately end the isolation period for a child or young person placed in isolation under section 481 if the Commissioner believes on reasonable grounds that the use of isolation for that child or young person is—
(a) no longer necessary; or
(b) no longer appropriate.
(2) Subsection (1) applies whether or not the period of isolation determined under section 483 has ended.
