CORPORATIONS REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) 1998 No. 185 - REG 79

79.1 In this regulation: amended Regulations means the Corporations
Regulations as amended by Parts 2 and 3. provision means:

   (a)  a Chapter or Part; or

   (b)  a regulation or subregulation; or

   (c)  an item or clause in a Schedule. redesignated provision means a
        provision of the amended Regulations that is redesignated by paragraph
        79.2 (a).

79.2 The amended Regulations are further amended as follows:

   (a)  a provision specified in column 1 of Schedule 1 is redesignated as
        indicated in column 2; and

   (b)  each provision of the amended Regulations that refers to a
        redesignated provision by its former designation is amended by
        omitting the reference to the former designation and substituting a
        reference to the new designation.

79.3 A reference in a document to a provision of the Corporations Regulations
that is redesignated by these Regulations is a reference to the provision as
so redesignated.
