(1) The Board may
recover any money owing to the Fund —
(a) as a
debt in a court of competent jurisdiction;
(b) by
deducting the amount owing from any amount that is, or becomes, payable from
the Fund to the debtor;
(c) if
the money is owed by an Employer, by entering into an arrangement for the
satisfaction of the debt in such manner as the Board considers appropriate; or
(d) if
the money is owed by a Member, by deduction of the amount owing from the
Member’s pay under subsection (2).
(2) If a Member owes
money to the Fund the Board may direct the Employer of the Member
to —
(a)
deduct the amount owing from the Member’s pay in the instalments and at
the times set out in the direction; and
(b) pay
the amount deducted to the Fund,
and the Employer must
comply with the direction.
