Regulations 675ZB(1) and 675ZC(2) do not apply during the period of
3 months beginning on commencement day in relation to the appointment of
statutory supervisors for places at a mine.
(2) A person is taken
to be an appropriate person for the position of statutory supervisor for the
period of 4 years beginning on commencement day if the person is a
competent person to carry out the functions of the position.
Note for this subregulation:
A person ceases to be
appointed to a Schedule 26 position if the person ceases to be an
appropriate person for the position under regulation 675ZQ.
