Regulation 425(1) does not apply to a person with management or control
of a workplace at a mine until the end of the shorter transitional period.
(2) If the asbestos
register is not prepared and kept at a workplace at a mine under
subregulation (1), a person does not commit an offence under these
regulations during the shorter transitional period in relation to an asbestos
register, including offences for failing to access, to provide access or to
review the register.
