The mine operator of a
mine must test the emergency plan for the mine —
(a) at
intervals of no more than 12 months, having regard to the recommendations
made by the organisations consulted under regulation 665(1) in preparing
the plan; and
(b) in
any event, as soon as is reasonably practicable after there has been a
significant revision to the plan.
Penalty:
(a) for
an individual, a fine of $7 000;
(b) for
a body corporate, a fine of $35 000.
