business or undertaking who carries out demolition or refurbishment at a
workplace must obtain a copy of the asbestos register from the person with
management or control of the workplace, before the person commences the
demolition or refurbishment.
Penalty:
(a) for
an individual, a fine of $7 000;
(b) for
a body corporate, a fine of $35 000.
