" Note
A court must not use an offender's spent childhood conviction (within the
meaning of the Spent Convictions Act 2021 ), or information about the conduct
to which an offender's spent childhood conviction relates, for the purpose of
assessing the character of the offender in a way that is adverse to the
offender—see section 24C of that Act.".
