Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) An official person may disclose confidential information about a child or young person to the following if the official person reasonably believes that the disclosure is reasonably necessary for the performance of official duties in relation to that child or young person—
(a) a parent of the child or young person;
(b) a legal representative of the child or young person.
(2) A panel member may disclose confidential information about a child or young person to the following if the panel member reasonably believes that the disclosure is reasonably necessary for the performance of a function or exercise of a power under Chapter 14 in relation to that child or young person—
(a) a parent of the child or young person;
(b) a legal representative of the child or young person.
