Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If the Secretary provides the Youth Parole Board with terrorism risk information under section 626 in respect of a child or young person, the Youth Parole Board must not determine whether to release the child or young person on parole until the Board has first determined whether or not the Board is satisfied that there is a risk that the person will commit a terrorism or foreign incursion offence.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to a determination of whether to release on parole a child or young person who—
(a) has a terrorism record; or
(b) is charged with a terrorism or foreign incursion offence.
(3) This section applies subject to section 625.

Section 625 limits the circumstances in which the Youth Parole Board may have regard to certain terrorism risk information.
