Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If the Commissioner for Youth Justice authorises the use of isolation under section 482, the Commissioner must also determine the period of isolation for the group or class of children or young persons.
(2) The period of isolation must be the shortest time necessary for the group or class in all the circumstances.
