Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current ActsSubject to sections 414 and 415, if the Children's Court finds a child guilty of an offence before passing sentence the Children's Court may—
(a) order the Secretary to prepare and file a pre‑sentence report in respect of the child; and
(b) adjourn the proceeding to enable the report to be prepared.
