Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A youth caution may be given to a child at any place that ensures the safety of all persons attending the giving of the youth caution.
(2) If a youth caution is to be given to an Aboriginal child, the youth caution should be given at a culturally appropriate place if—
(a) it is reasonably practicable to do so; and
(b) the child agrees to the youth caution being given at that place.
