(1) An owner of relevant premises must give at least 72 hours' notice, or such other agreed period of notice, of the intention to enter adjoining premises, including any building or structure on the premises, to perform the agreed protection work.Penalty: In the case of (a) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 10 penalty units; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.(2) For the purpose of carrying out any agreed protection work, a person may (a) enter adjoining premises between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. or at such other times as may be agreed between the parties; and(b) without doing any unnecessary damage, remove any furniture or fittings, or do any other thing, that may be necessary to perform the protection work.
