(1) A building surveyor may issue a certificate of final inspection (demolition) in respect of permit demolition work if (a) the building surveyor has (i) inspected the permit demolition work under section 199 on completion of the final notification stage for the work; and(ii) received a standard of work certificate (permit demolition work) in respect of the work; and(b) the building surveyor is satisfied that (i) the permit demolition work is completed; and(ii) the permit demolition work is in compliance with this Act and the National Construction Code, in so far as it is reasonably practicable to inspect.(2) If a building surveyor issues a certificate of final inspection (demolition), the building surveyor is to (a) issue the certificate of final inspection (demolition) to the owner of the premises where the permit demolition work was performed; and(b) provide a copy of it to the permit authority and the licensed builder specified in the relevant permit for the permit demolition work.
