Erratum to Explanatory Notes
Title of the Bill
Corrective Services and Other Legislation Amendment Bill (No. 2) 2008
Reason for Erratum
The erratum is necessary to correct some errors in the explanatory notes to
ensure that the explanatory notes reflect the content of the Bill.
Notes on Provisions
For the final paragraph on page 4, delete the word "required" and replaces
with "require." This amendment corrects a typographical error.
For the third paragraph under the heading Fundamental Legislative
Principles on page 5 insert word "prosecuting" before "summary offences."
This amendment corrects a typographical error.
Delete the final three paragraphs on page 5, the last one which runs over to
page 6, which refer to sections 28A and 28E in relation to prisoner artwork.
The extension of limitation of time for prosecutions does not apply to the
offences in these sections and these paragraphs should be removed to
accurately reflect the content of the bill.
For the second paragraph on page 6 delete the phrase "It was not possible
to take this action in all cases as information in relation to this sentence of
imprisonment." This amendment corrects a typographical error.

For the first paragraph on page 15, insert the word "to" between "approval"
and "be." This amendment corrects a typographical error.
For the second paragraph on page 19, insert word "date" between "release"
and "is." This amendment corrects a typographical error.
For the second paragraph on page 22 in point (b) replace with word
"prisoners" with "prisoner's." This amendment corrects a typographical
error.
For the final paragraph on page 23 delete "This offence relates" and replace
with "These offences relate." This amendment corrects a typographical
error.
