Regulations under the Planning Act


I, KEITH JOHN AUSTIN ASCHE, the Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Planning Act.

PLANNING (TRANSITIONAL) REGULATIONS


  1. CITATION

These Regulations may be cited as the Planning (Transitional) Regulations.


2. NOTIFICATION OF APPLICATIONS UNDER FORMER ACT


Where, by virtue of section 146 of the Act, Part 7 of the Act applies to an application made under section 87 or 104 of the former Act, notification of the application given before the commencement date that substantially complies with the notification requirements of section 50 of the Act shall be deemed to be notification given under that section and the application may be dealt with in accordance with the Act notwith-standing that the notification was given before the commencement date.
