OMBUDSMAN (WITNESSES' EXPENSES) REGULATIONS


Regulations under the Ombudsman (Northern Territory) Act


  1. Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Ombudsman (Witnesses' Expenses) Regulations. (See back note 1)

  1. Witnesses' expenses

A person summonsed to attend, and attending, before the Ombudsman for the purpose of giving evidence or producing any book, document or writing shall be paid such fees and expenses at the same rates, and subject to the same conditions, as the witnesses' expenses that are, from time to time, provided under Rules of Court made under section 86 of the Judiciary Act 1903 of the Commonwealth.
