MUTUAL RECOGNITION (TEMPORARY EXEMPTION FOR PROHIBITED PLASTIC BAGS) REGULATIONS

Regulations under the Mutual Recognition(Northern Territory) Act

  1. Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Mutual Recognition (Temporary Exemption for Prohibited Plastic Bags) Regulations.

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on 1 September 2011.

  1. Temporary exemption for prohibited plastic bags

For section 15 of the Commonwealth Act, the Environment Protection (Beverage Containers and Plastic Bags) Act is, to the extent it relates to prohibited plastic bags, a law to which that section applies.

  1. Expiry

These Regulations expire on 31 August 2012.
