(1) Subject to subregulation (2), this Part applies:

(a)

to all hazardous substances; and

(b)

to all workplaces at which hazardous substances are used; and

(c)

in relation to all persons who could be exposed to hazardous substances.

Hazardous substance and use are defined in regulation 2.03.

(2)

This Part does not apply to a substance that is being transported in accordance with the requirements set out in the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code , published by the International Maritime Organization.
