NATIONAL TRADE MEASUREMENT REGULATIONS 2009 (SLI NO 233 OF 2009) - REG 4.20

         (1)   The measurement marking relating to:

                (a)    bedsheets that are not designed as fitted or semi-fitted bedsheets; and

               (b)    other sheets of hemmed fabric material; and

                (c)    tarpaulins;

must be expressed in terms of the finished size of the product.

         (2)   The measurement marking relating to:

                (a)    a mattress protector; or

               (b)    a bedsheet designed as a fitted or semi-fitted bedsheet;

must be expressed in terms of the suitability of its finished size to fit a mattress of specified dimensions expressed as length × width × depth.
