(1) A person must not use for trade a measuring instrument fitted with a removable load receptor if:
(a) the measuring instrument is 1 of 2 or more measuring instruments fitted with a removable load receptor that are located on the premises; and
(b) the load receptor is not clearly marked in a manner that identifies the load receptor with the measuring instrument to which it is fitted.
(2) A person who engages in conduct that contravenes subregulation (1) commits an offence.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
(3) The offence mentioned in subregulation (2) is an offence of strict liability.
