1991 No. 147 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2. Regulation 16 (Nationality and registration marks) 
  2.1   After subregulation 16 (8), add:


"(9) If an Australian aircraft does not comply with a requirement specified in
subregulation (6), (7) or (8), the holder of the certificate of registration
of the aircraft is guilty of an offence punishable, on conviction, by a fine
not exceeding:

   (a)  for a contravention of subregulation (6)-$1,000; or

   (b)  for a contravention of subregulation (7) or (8)- $500.".
