                           EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM




OUTLINE

Seventh and eighth lines - omit "Cocos (Keeling) Islands Act 1995",
substitute "Cocos (Keeling) Islands Act 1955" to correct a typographical
error in the Explanatory Memorandum.


ITEM 27 - AFTER SUBSECTION 21(1)

First line - omit "Item 28", substitute "Item 27" to correct a
typographical error in the Explanatory Memorandum.


ITEM 28 - AT THE END OF PARAGRAPH 21(2)(A)

First and fourth lines - omit "Item 27", substitute "Item 28" to correct
typographical errors in the Explanatory Memorandum.


ITEM 40 - AT THE END OF SECTION 42

First line- omit "Item 37", substitute "Item 40" to correct a typographical
error in the Explanatory Memorandum.
